Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks. Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, and pans efficiently. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Help organise storage areas to ensure easy access to ingredients and supplies. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by delivering items as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts within the kitchen.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. A passion for food and an interest in culinary practices is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
