Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly to support kitchen operations. Support chefs with cooking tasks as required, demonstrating a willingness to learn culinary techniques. Ensure all food storage areas are kept tidy and stocked appropriately. Assist with serving meals during busy periods, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is preferred. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments will be considered an asset. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to develop skills in food service is highly valued. Strong teamwork abilities and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
