Kitchen Assistant

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and a passion for hospitality. Whether you are working in a hotel, restaurant your contributions will be vital to our success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Function:

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible. Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery. Unload food and equipment deliveries. Keep the storeroom organised. Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised Bale cardboard boxes Ensure you adhere to policies and procedures as set out in the staff handbook.
Located just an hour from London or Cambridge on the Essex / Hertfordshire borders, the estate is perfectly placed for an overnight stay, dinner with friends, a corporate away day, a wedding, or the ideal base for a summer staycation with the kids.It's an incredibly exciting time to be joining the Down Hall Team as we are looking to elevate our passion for hospitality to the next level.
