Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. Help in the storage and rotation of food supplies to minimise waste. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and work surfaces.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary work is key. A good understanding of food hygiene practices and health regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service.

Pay: 11.44-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
