Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our chefs by ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains high standards of cleanliness.

The post is split shifts for both breakfast service in the morning between 8am and 12pm and then evening service 5pm until around 9/10pm.

There is the possibility this can be just evening and weekend work as our current KP team are flexible on their rotas which would allow for anyone who may be studying.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils for both breakfast and evening service Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Dispose of waste and recycle materials according to health and safety regulations. Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 28 per week
