Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients are readily available. Wash dishes, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods to uphold health and safety standards. Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning from others. Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 12.21 per hour
