Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of Hotel and Kitchen Operations. You will be responsible for the safety and cleanliness of our fantastic city centre hotel's kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow correct health, safety and hygiene procedures. Clean and sanitise working areas and equipment Operate dishwasher machinery Assist in basic food preparation Remove and recycle waste from the kitchen Ensure correct use and storage of correct chemicals Adhere to cleaning rotas for the kitchen

Requirements

Previous experience in Kitchen Porter roles or a similar role within the kitchen industry is preferred but not essential Strong knowledge of kitchen work, it's services and local amenities Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. A commitment to providing outstanding effort and ensuring guest satisfaction. Ability to work well under pressure and reach targets set by management Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
