We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff by maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in culinary and food preparation settings.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Wash dishes, cooking machinery, and cooking utensils efficiently Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times Help with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients Keep the kitchen area organised and tidy throughout shifts Assist with deliveries and ensure that supplies are stored correctly A responsible worker with a willingness to work independently

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality sector Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn from experienced cooks and chefs

Working Hours

We are looking for someone to work the following hours, although these hours may change slightly;

Thursday 7pm - 10pm / 10:30pm Friday 7pm - 10pm / 10:30pm Saturday 7pm - 10pm / 10:30pm

Pay: 12.21 per hour
