ACS International School Cobham is seeking a reliable and hardworking

Kitchen Porter

to join our dynamic catering team. The role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and dining facilities, ensuring a high standard of service for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and food court areas, including equipment, cutlery, and crockery. Ensure service areas are set up, cleared, and cleaned down after meal times. Support the catering team with food service preparation, including assistance during school events. Operate dishwashing and other kitchen equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelines. Adhere to Health & Safety, COSHH, and HACCP policies at all times. Complete and sign daily cleaning checklists to maintain hygiene standards. Support the team in any additional reasonable duties as directed by the Catering Manager or Sous Chef.

Person Specification

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; however, full training will be provided. Basic literacy skills sufficient to complete checklists and training modules. Good communication and organisational skills. A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team. Strong customer service approach. Own transport is highly recommended due to the school's location. Committed to working in line with ACS values and upholding high hygiene and safety standards.
