Role Overview
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter / Commis Chef to support our kitchen operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a professional kitchen or grow their culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and cooking. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Wash dishes and ensure hygiene standards are upheld. Receive and store deliveries correctly. Support the team during busy service periods. Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not essential). Willingness to learn and take direction. Good time management and organisational skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends. A positive, team-oriented attitude.
