We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary establishment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
- Keep kitchen equipment and work surfaces clean and sanitised
- Dispose of waste appropriately
- Support the team during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help out where needed
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with kitchen staff and management
It is essential you are fully flexible to cover morning, evening and weekend shifts.
