Stitch & Weave is seeking a Kitchen Porter for our bar and restaurant in Ebrington Square. Stitch & Weave is the closest F&B outlet just before the Peace Bridge.

This is an all-day food and beverage operation from Wednesday to Sunday.

The style of food would be classified as Bistro/Brasserie style cuisine with a high quality beverage and cocktail offering. The events market will also form part of the business.

Role Objective;

To ensure that all equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware is washed and stored correctly and to ensure that the wash-up area is maintained in a hygienic manner.

Key Duties include;

To ensure all items of crockery, cutlery & glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly
Cleaning of pots, pans & equipment and their storage
Carry out cleaning duties as outlined on standard procedures
Maintain cleanliness of refuse area and ensure kitchen bins regularly emptied
Be aware of hazardous substances and to ensure that relative protective clothing is worn and directions followed
Adhere to any reasonable request from management or chefs
Participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance
Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming
Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations
Upkeep the company's equal opportunities policy to ensure a neutral working environment
Keep staff/work areas tidy, safe & report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and observe all requirements under current health & safety regulations
Other duties as requested by management.
