We are seeking a kitchen porter to support our talented culinary team. You will help maintain cleanliness standards and assist the chefs with basic food preparation duties.
Requirements:
Work is 5 days, Monday to Friday, 12-5pm
No formal qualifications or experience required.
Reliable self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
Able to follow instructions accurately.
Safety-conscious team player
Comfort working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Physically fit - able to stand, bend, lift moderate loads.
Responsibilities
Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils thoroughly, whilst keeping the dish wash area clear throughout service period.
Store deliveries appropriately; label and organize all ingredients.
Wash, peel, chop fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Keep kitchen cleaning rota up to date.
Learn correct use of kitchen tools and equipment.
Remove trash, recyclables, and compost cleanly and safely.
Inform chefs when supplies are low.
This role is perfect for someone wishing to gain entry-level kitchen experience in a golf club setting. The right attitude to support the culinary success of our operation is vital.
