Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen. Ensure that all waste is disposed of correctly and that recycling procedures are followed. Help with stock rotation and storage of food items to maintain freshness and quality. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. A background in food preparation or culinary studies is beneficial for those looking to develop their skills further in the hospitality industry. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the kitchen team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
