Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team during Fridays and Saturdays.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen, supporting the chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Will also look at candidates with no experience but a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Base Salary 12.50 per hour plus TRONC (3 to 5 extra per hour)

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and ensure they are properly stored. Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as required. Take in and organise deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of stock. Keep floors, surfaces, and waste areas clean and free of hazards at all times. Support the smooth running of service by ensuring the kitchen is stocked and well-maintained. Follow all health and safety guidelines to support a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a professional kitchen is a plus, but not essential. Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. Good timekeeping and reliability. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and carry out manual tasks. Willingness to learn and grow within the role. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
