Chaakoo on Lothian Road is looking for a full time kitchen porter to join their team.
The ideal candidate must be flexible in their working hours and will need to work evenings and weekends. We are looking for someone who is able to start immediately, and experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure proper storage and labelling of food items
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Key Points:
From 12.21 per hour + tips.
25-30 hours per week.
