Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Amanzi in the heart of the UK. This role is vital in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional African cuisine and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized. Support the kitchen team during peak service times. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes. Help with inventory management and stock rotation. Follow health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to enhance kitchen efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food hygiene practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. A passion for food and commitment to quality service.
