We are currently looking for a

Kitchen Porter

to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Kitchen team! This is a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7. You must be available to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

As a

Kitchen Porter

at SCHLOSS Roxburghe you will be responsible for the professional handling, cleaning, preparation and operation of the dishwashers. The role shall also include the supervision of cleaning the cold stores, the kitchen and the stewarding area. This is the perfect role for someone looking to start their career in the hospitality, Kitchen or the restaurant industry!

Your Responsibilities:

- Previous kitchen porter experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given

- You are highly motivated and have great attention to detail

- You take huge pride in our work ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene

- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach;

- You are willing to learn and aim to continuously improve

- You're adaptable, and available to work a flexible schedule, in line with the changing needs of our business
