Hours:

Full-Time, 40 hours per week with flexibility for earlier/later shifts and overtime)

Pay:

13.85 per hour

Type:

Fixed core hours + optional overtime at FIKA sites and client events across London

This role goes beyond washing up. You'll be the heartbeat of our kitchen -- receiving and managing daily deliveries, keeping our prep and storage spaces organised, and ensuring the entire operation runs smoothly and to the

highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency

. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and front-of-house team, especially at peak service times.

This is a

Full time but flexible role

, ideal for someone who's detail-driven, proactive, and open to taking shifts across our FIKA sites and client events throughout London.

Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations



Maintain strict adherence to daily and weekly cleaning schedules Ensure bins, waste areas, and storage are always clean and well-managed Support the kitchen team with light prep tasks as required Take full ownership of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation Wash and sanitise equipment, utensils, and surfaces to the highest standards

Logistics & Deliveries



Receive and check deliveries from our production kitchen Collect food safely from the loading bay and deliver to the service floor Store deliveries promptly, accurately, and safely Keep fridges and storage spaces organised and compliant

Team Support & Flexibility



Work closely with front-of-house and hospitality teams Be available for

extra hours

during events, busier days, or across FIKA's wider client sites in London Maintain a flexible, can-do attitude -- stepping up and supporting where needed Represent FIKA's values of

Health & Safety, Food Safety, the Environment:



To ensure that the kitchen meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures. To ensure all equipment is well maintained and is in good working order. To ensure safe working practices are followed and equipment faults are reported to the Head Chef. To ensure that all company procedures and work instructions are fully understood and practised by all employees. To promote and encourage environmental improvement initiatives as appropriate within the business.
