We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and have an interest in the culinary arts, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies. Dispose of waste correctly and maintain recycling practices in the kitchen. Support the team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential. A keen interest in culinary practices and food preparation is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks within the kitchen setting.
