We are seeking a dedicated and Kitchen Porterto join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team by assisting with food preparation and kitchen cleanliness. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant and events environment while contributing to the overall success of our hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of various dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and maintaining cleanliness. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques. Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service periods and events.

Requirements

Previous experience in food production or preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. A keen interest in street food and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork abilities, demonstrating leadership potential and willingness to grow within the role. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety practices. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
