Kitchen Porter
at Parklands Hotel and Country Club you will join a talented brigade of colleagues.
Key Accountabilities of a Kitchen Porter:
Operation of all cleaning equipment and tools
Wash and disinfect the kitchen and store room areas including knives and equipment.
Receive deliveries and store correcting ensuring stock is rotated.
Ensure clean wares are stored in the correct areas to allow smooth service
Follow all health and safety requirements
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the team
Perform other duties as requested by chefs
Basic food preparation
The ideal candidate will
A minimum of 1 years experience within a busy kitchen
Hands on approach
Strong communication / organisational skills
Previous food hygiene certificate
Very flexible on working hours
