We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen as well as washing dishes, drying dishes and organising.
This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field while contributing to a vibrant restaurant or hotel setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Help organise and store food supplies and equipment efficiently. Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and free from hazards. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is key. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff. A passion for food preparation and an interest in developing culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.55 per hour
