Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Support chefs by preparing ingredients and maintaining stock levels of kitchen supplies. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with the disposal of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately. Maintain a positive attitude while working as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary field is key. A strong understanding of hygiene standards and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to help others within the team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. A passion for hospitality and a desire to learn more about food preparation and culinary techniques.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 11.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 32 per week
