Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available.
Help with the storage and organisation of food supplies and equipment.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the cleaning of kitchen equipment and work surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous.
Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards working with others in a fast-paced setting.
