We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous. Basic cooking skills and understanding of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with culinary practices and hospitality standards. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the culinary field.
