We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Ensure all kitchen supplies are stocked and readily available for use. Remove waste and recycling from the kitchen area regularly to maintain hygiene standards. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by helping with various tasks as required. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers alike. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness. A genuine interest in the culinary field and desire to develop skills within the kitchen.
