We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can focus on delivering exceptional dishes. KNOLEDGE OF SPANISH IS ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items under the guidance of chefs. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised at all times. Help with stock rotation and storage of food items to prevent waste. Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed. Dispose of waste correctly and maintain recycling practices. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential. A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from others. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Spanish language is required
