About Jesmond Dene House

Jesmond Dene House is an award-winning 4 Red Star, 2 Rosette, hotel, restaurant and bar situated in a leafy suburb of Jesmond, 5 minutes from Newcastle City Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as in an efficient manner

Collecting and washing up pots and pans.

Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.

Ensuring the storerooms remain organised.

Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised.

Cleaning dishes manually and using the dishwasher.

Supporting basic food preparation.

Maintain kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.

Candidates applying should be confident working safely in a busy kitchen environment; be able to accurately follow instructions and have strong verbal communication skills; be able to work effectively unsupervised
