We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at Prestwick club. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary staff by ensuring the kitchen porter operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies and ingredients.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing additional assistance as required.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with waste management and recycling efforts within the kitchen.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospitality
A strong willingness to learn and develop skills within the kitchen setting.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
