Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available.
Help with the storage of food items and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times.
Assist in the cleaning of kitchen equipment and appliances as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous.
A background in culinary arts or hospitality will be considered a plus.
Basic cooking skills and an understanding of food preparation techniques are beneficial.
