Who we are: The Pavilion is a popular food and beverage establishments in surroundings like no other. The Pavilion is based within the grounds of beautiful Stansted Park, which is hidden within 1800 acres of ancient woodland. Our busy tearoom is set inside a beautifully restored Victorian glasshouse, which enjoys a wonderful outlook over the stunning landscaped walled garden.
We are passionate about fresh, locally sourced and homemade food and are very proud of our menu. We prepare and cook all our food from our on site kitchens and serve cooked to order breakfasts, light lunches, and afternoon teas.
We open 7 days a week from 9am until 5pm.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Kitchen Porter, the role includes working 1 day at the weekend. Additional hours may be available.
Job overview:
To be responsible for delivering an efficient and high standard of service to assist with the smooth running of the Kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To be fully responsible for the smooth running of the dishwashing area using our Hobart double hood dishwasher;
To maintain outstanding cleanliness and presentation standards in the dishwashing area at all times by correctly following the cleaning schedules for the kitchen. To clean the section and other areas as directed and to complete daily clear down;
To ensure that all crockery and kitchen ware is efficiently cleaned and well maintained using chemicals appropriately including trays, cutlery and glass;
To communicate with other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the section;
To be responsible for accepting and signing for deliveries on a daily basis and to ensure the contents and details are correct against the delivery note. To raise any issues immediately with the Supervisor;
To be responsible for processing and unpacking deliveries expediently ensuring stock rotation;
To ensure inside and outside bins and surrounding areas are kept clean, tidy and presentable, including the cardboard area;
To assist with keeping the Kitchen as a safe place to work;
To expediently report any maintenance issues to a Manager or Supervisor to ensure there are no unnecessary delays;
To be flexible and willing to help other sections busy times if required, including clearing and cleaning.
