The Opportunity

We are currently seeking two friendly and enthusiastic

Kitchen Porters

to join our fast-paced and vibrant restaurant team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, dynamic workplace where your contributions are valued.

Hours of work

Position 1: 8.30am to 4.30pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Position 2: 8.30am to 4.30pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Responsibilities

Main Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients. Operate the industrial dishwasher to clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and trays. Support general kitchen operations by emptying bins and removing rubbish. Ensure the kitchen meets health and safety and food hygiene standards, including cleaning fridges, freezers, and storage areas. Keep the bin storage areas and outside delivery bay tidy and clean. Organise and put away deliveries, ensuring stock and produce are properly rotated. Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Other duties may include clearing tables and serving customers in the dining area as needed.

Pay: 8.60-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
