The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and service. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly. Ensure all kitchen areas are kept tidy and organised throughout service. Support chefs during busy periods by helping with basic cooking tasks as required. Assist with the storage of food items and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste. Help set up and clear down dining areas as needed, contributing to an excellent guest experience. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn about culinary practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
