Our ideal candidate would be organised and punctual. we would be looking for a full time member of staff five days out of seven. These would be split shifts. You must have the legal right to work in the Uk as no sponsorship is available.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE To keep the kitchen and stillroom areas clean and clear to strict health and safety standards, to wash dry and store all crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. To deal with all deliveries and waste disposal.
Main duties and responsibilities
To be on duty and properly dressed for work at the time indicated on your rota
To wear your uniform as instructed at all times while on duty
To know and adhere to instructions for the use, control and storage of chemicals
To use and wear protective equipment when required and as instructed.
To know and abide by all health and safety regulations
To report and maintenance issues immediately
To clean all kitchen fixtures and appliances as required.
To wash all crockery, cutlery and catering equipment.
To wash walls and floors to required standard ensuring wet floor signs are used.
To check daily and weekly hygiene sheets and record work done by signing
To be aware of and abide by all food hygiene regulations.
To prepare vegetables as required by the head chef
To put away deliveries as instructed, checking that they are correct and in good condition
To undertake any other reasonable request in order to ensure that the customer receives the best possible service and product
Previous kitchen experience would be advantageous however full training will be provided.
