We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other ingredients as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
Support chefs during service by helping with basic cooking tasks and serving when necessary.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Assist in stock control by reporting low inventory levels to the kitchen management team.
Participate in regular cleaning duties, including deep cleaning of kitchen areas as scheduled.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills will be beneficial.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, or any hospitality setting is preferred.
