Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen while supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and service. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Different shift patterns are available during the week and at weekends.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the pot wash area is always kept tidy Assisting the chefs with kitchen prep Clearing tables Assisting the front of house teams Maintaining standards throughout the day
This role is physically demanding, including a high volume of lifting and bending, loading and unloading heavy trays into a dishwasher with a quick turnaround.

Skills

:

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable Basic food preparation skills with an understanding of cooking techniques Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning from others
