Newbridge Nurseries Garden Centre is seeking a hardworking and reliable

Kitchen Porter

to join our friendly cafe team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage spaces. Wash and sanitise all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to a high standard. Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required. Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling systems are followed. Unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently. Assist with setting up and closing down the kitchen at the start and end of the day. Comply with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Work effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff to keep service running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential -- full training will be provided.

Hours and Benefits:
