Kitchen Porter - 32 Hours per Week

Location: Fosseway Garden Centre, Moreton-in-Marsh

Working Hours: Daytime shifts, 32 hours per week (includes weekends on a rota basis)

Responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Porter, your main duties will include:

Assisting with the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keeping food preparation and service areas clean and tidy at all times Supporting chefs with basic food preparation as required Unloading deliveries and ensuring correct storage of food and supplies Disposing of waste in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations Reporting any maintenance or equipment issues promptly Working effectively as part of a team and assisting colleagues when needed
Requirements:

A positive and hardworking attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good timekeeping and reliability A strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards (training provided) Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis
