Kitchen Porter - Coombe Hill Golf Club

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable

Kitchen Porter

to join our dedicated brigade at Coombe Hill Golf Club. This is a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen, helping us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment at all times Wash and sanitise all kitchenware, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils Assist with deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors Empty waste and recycling bins regularly and responsibly Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the day and after service Support basic food preparation tasks under the chef's supervision when required Follow all food hygiene and health & safety protocols Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow

What we are looking for:

Experience in a hospitality or catering setting is helpful but not essential A good understanding of basic kitchen hygiene and safety practices is an advantage Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and a proactive attitude A positive team player with good communication skills Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods and lifting heavy items

Working Hours:

This is a full-time role, working

5 days out of 7

, including

weekends,

with

two days off during the week

. Hours are primarily

daytime shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

, with occasional evening shifts offered as paid overtime.
