Marmalade is a high-end cafe in the heart of bustling Leigh-on-Sea Broadway, offering healthy breakfast and lunch options in a vibrant and welcoming space. We are looking for a new kitchen assistant to join our established kitchen team.
The role will include keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and organised, receiving and unloading deliveries, disposing of waste and communicating with the front of house team to make sure they have everything they need to serve customers.
Once you are established in the role, you will be trained to help the chefs with basic food preparation under supervision. We do not require any previous kitchen experience and will sponsor you achieve food safety qualifications on joining the team.

The role is weekdays Monday to Friday 9am-4:30pm, and benefits from free lunch and a share in the tips each month. Depending on candidate availability we are likely to be able to offer flexibility around shift times and dates. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds.
