Washing up and always maintaining a high standard in line with all the food hygiene and safety standards and following in-house procedure and policies at all times.
Experience with food handling is essential and preferably hold a certificate in Food Safety Level 2.
Make sure all deliveries are put away adhering to the FIFO rule.
To ensure all work areas, pot wash is kept clean and tidy.
Ensure that all COSHH procedures are adhered all the time.
Make sure all equipment is cleaned safely and to a high standard.
Assist chef with basic food preparation and production
General tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen, bathroom, storage area will be your responsibility
To help chefs maintain a smooth service.
