Duties

Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support the culinary team. Ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly. Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently. Supporting the rest of the kitchen staff during busy service periods to maintain smooth operations. Restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are available for daily operations. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is desirable. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and hygiene standards within a professional environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen environment.
