Nestled in the vibrant neighbourhood of Ballyhackamore, East Belfast, Cyprus Avenue opened its' doors on 30th December 2016. Within a year, expansion had started, taking over the adjoining building, and then more recently adding a fully covered, heated terrace.
Open 7 days a week from 9am till late Cyprus Avenue is a venue for all occasions. The menu is dictated by the seasons, with an emphasis on our local suppliers. The food is very much eclectic, drawing on the travels and influences of the staff allowing for a constantly evolving varied menu with something to please everyone.
Cyprus Avenue remains family run and fiercely proud of its humble beginnings, honoured to serve East Belfast.
Your Role
Working in a fast paced, and busy kitchen.
Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard.
Assisting to develop new dishes and menus.
Responsible for the day to day running of your allocated section, ensuring adequate stock control, and limited wastage.
Restocking of your allocated section after service.
Required from you
Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment preferred.
Ability to delegate tasks to junior staff members.
Capable of doing 200+ plus covers on a busy dinner service.
An ambition to learn and progress.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
