Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Safety:
Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards to eliminate cross-contamination.
Operate ovens and other kitchen equipment, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures for all hot and cold foods.
Maintain a clean and food-safe preparation area throughout your shift, demonstrating proper food handling practices.
Dishwashing & Cleaning:
Keep up with dirty dishes by periodically running the dishwasher between other tasks.
Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean and organized to maintain the 5-star Food Safety Rating.
Stock Management:
Manage the intake of fresh food stock, ensuring proper rotation of dates in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
Communicate with other Team Members to ensure that all kitchen areas are adequately stocked at all times.
Menu Knowledge & Allergen Awareness:
Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing salad menu, including all ingredients and potential allergens.
