Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
The restaurant is currently open four evenings a week (Wednesday to Saturday) and for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. Rotas are released weekly, with regular shifts prioritised for reliable and committed team members.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Assist with general cleaning duties, including floors, surfaces, and storage areas. Support chefs with basic food preparation when required. Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Skills & Requirements
Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is essential. Strong work ethic and ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well. Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
