Murrays of Clevedon are on the hunt for new employees to push our fantastic restaurant into its 41st year!

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Please note - This role is part time only on set days (Thursday and Saturday evenings), see below.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help manage waste disposal and recycling efforts within the kitchen. Support the team during busy service periods by providing assistance where required.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining cleanliness standards.
This role is part-time only with set shifts of every Thursday and Saturday evening. Candidates must be required to work the above with potential holiday cover when required by the business.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.95 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
