Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter over 18 years old to join our team at The Lakeside Inn, located in the beautiful and Wear area. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently. Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed. Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
