Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, and pans promptly. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available. Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas regularly. Help with the organisation of stock and supplies, ensuring everything is stored correctly. Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. A basic understanding of food preparation techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with health and safety standards within a culinary setting. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings will be considered an asset.
