Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Assist chefs with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Help with the storage of food items, ensuring proper labelling and rotation to maintain freshness. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen management promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is

A passion for hospitality and an interest in culinary arts will be highly regarded. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure setting. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others within the kitchen team. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workspace.
